New Year, New Trends:: Welcoming 2021!

Posted by Paige Albright on

The age of all white interiors is coming to an end, with color coming back with a bang for 2021. As we spend more time in our homes, multifunctional spaces; laid back living; blending inside and outside; comfort and tradition are key. “Old school” interiors with an emphasis on antiques are trending as well as a modern mix, creating “layers of functional comfort.”

You will see a sort of ‘Global Influence’ as a key trend for the season across both interiors and fashion. Warmer tones now often being favored over cooler grays. You will also see wicker, bamboo and plants, “bringing the outside in.” Pantone’s color of the year is lemon yellow, adding some sunshine to your space.

With a growing awareness of environmental issues there is a movement toward sustainable and affordable design with natural materials.
Less but better quality and more color.
