Flatweave

A flatweave rug is created without knots. These rugs are woven on loom similar to a tapestry technique. They are thin without any pile, sturdy, often reversible and less expensive than traditional pile rugs.

Flatweaves mix beautifully with all different types of rugs and offer a fresh alternative to antique orientals.

At PAO all of our flat weaves are hand woven and made with natural fibers. We offer standard sizes in stock and custom made to order.
