Bohemian: French word for Gypsy

Bohemian style originated over 200 years ago after the French Revolution resulting from poor artists wearing used worn and mis-matched clothing.

The carefree, relaxed, “more is more” style transfers from clothing over to interiors with eclectic rooms that are never completely alike. The more unusual the better.

Combining objects, colors and patterns from many areas of the world, using “global inspiration” to create an unconventional artistic space. Play on pattern with layered rugs, textiles, trinkets and treasures all telling a personal story. The only rule of Bohemian decor is that every item in the room should share something about you.
